Electrification of Klaipėda, Pauostis, and Draugystė railway stations
2024 - 2025
Klaipėda
In progress
We are undertaking a large-scale electrification project at the Klaipėda, Pauostis, and Draugystė railway stations to modernize Lithuania's transport infrastructure and contribute to a cleaner and more sustainable environment. This project is significant not only for the local community but also for the national economy, as it enables the modernization of connectivity, more efficient traffic management, and a reduction in carbon emissions.
Key project tasks include:
- Installation of electrical ducts: Over 45,000 meters of conduits for electrical cables will be installed, ensuring durability and protection.
- Installation of cable wells: A total of 211 wells will be installed, allowing easy access to cables and ensuring smooth, reliable infrastructure operation.
- Laying of cables: A total of 83,312 meters of electrical cables will be laid, playing a crucial role in the efficient management of traffic and data transmission.
- Trenchless pipeline installation across the Danė River: A complex 123-meter pipeline installation has been completed without disturbing the river’s ecosystem.
The project is valued at €1.356 million, with completion scheduled for February 2025. The modernized transport infrastructure will improve passenger experience, reduce transport delays, and enable more reliable transport management using the SCADA system.
We are proud to contribute to the creation of a progressive, eco-friendly, and sustainable transport infrastructure in Lithuania, which will benefit residents and the business sector for years to come.
